Here's a blast from the past from ex-Trio member J. Schmutz. How are things in Irving? Are you and Cindy enjoying urban Texas? Sonja, Elizabeth, Arthur and I are alive and well in Pasadena though we just moved two blocks away from our old place. The new house has, yes, two garages. I still have not played any drums worth mentioning since The Lennon Page Trio gig of May 27, 2005. My only musical connection is to the students whom I teach at a non-public school of gang kids whom are either in group homes or in and out of juvenile hall. They are a hard-scrabble crew at times. The school is in North Hills on Sepulveda Blvd. ACROSS THE STREET from a strip club. Yeah, my credential program professors would be proud.
On a lark, I cruised through your website and very fond memories began flooding back to me. I was astonished at your extensive bio prior to the Speed Limit era. You've certainly have been on long road in your musical career. Very prideful, I wish I had the benefit of some of your experiences. In sum, I feel priviledged that you saw fit to include me in your project for several years.
